Permission from website to their pictures on Numista

I have just got granted permission to use images from the website www.hnb.hr (source: Croatian National Bank).

I also read that we should remove non watermarked banknote pictures. 😅

Actually would probably be necessary for most modern banknotes.

Note the specific requirement to add the word ‘Specimen’ in a legible manner on banknote images. Not an uncommon requirement.

Also a reduced size if both sides are shown completely etc.

With this e-mail they also send an attachment with the pictures I could use. These were different from the ones I wan attending to use, but I guess I'll add the new ones they sent me instead.

If we can reuse only some of the pictures of a website, we should not add it to the list of authorized sources, to avoid people from copying their pictures without knowing the conditions.

Please add the pictures with the type of source “Other”. You may add a link to this forum thread in the source/explanation field at the very bottom.

@Xavier and what should we do about the banknote pictures? In the e-mail they want an update.

The currency Euro (2023-) didn't exist in the Croatian list of currency, so this must be added as well.
