Dear members,
I have this British India silver coin which looks to be

1 Rupee George VI - 1942
Number N# 20327
References KM# 556

But I do not see the year 1942 in the Numista list.

Can somebody guide me how to add the year or let me know if I have made an error in identifying the coin type.

Responses highly appreciated.

Main difference may be on the reverse.

Slightly different lettering style.

Mainly the flowers and leaves are rearranged.

Dear friends,
There is a clear visible difference between these two types in the obverse.

The urdu script below the year in KM#557 is in one continuous line
N#2470
ref to KM#557
The Pic below is taken from Numista catalogue.

The script below the year in KM#556 is overlapping
N#20327
Ref to KM#556
Pic below is taken from Numista catalogue.

The one that I have is clearly same as KM#556, but the year 1942 in KM#556 is not available.
Pic below is from my coin

That is what I'm wanting to add.

Kindly check on this and respond.

Your coin in KM#557. The main difference between KM#556 and KM#557 is head size of George VI bust and rim decoration.

KM#556 - Large second head, small rim decoration

KM#557 - Small second head, large rim decoration

The Urdu script difference that you mentioned only occurs on coins dated 1945 and its small lettering type. The coin dated 1942 does not have this small lettering.
