Upcoming trip to Europe in 2 weeks

Hello and good day,

To our European members, I'll be in Spain and France in a couple weeks. Knowing some of the European members are wary of swaps from abroad due to custom/taxes, I can bring the prepared envelopes with me and mail from within the EU. 

I won't have a permanent address there so I would appreciate if you can send to Canada (regular airmail is acceptable). 

If you would like to exchange feel free to open a swap.

Here's something we should all seriously consider and develop: using members traveling abroad as carriers. True - swaps would become slower but considerably cheaper!

My thoughts exactly. Did you declare that? Get detained for being a “money launderer”? Small amounts could be explained away but there is a limit.

The Spanish part is not operational yet, still needs some translations and updates before being launched formally.

But if you print out the conversation on the swap page, I'm quite sure you can explain why you're carrying the money right? And how much do you need to carry to be considered a money launderer? For The Netherlands, the total amount of cash must exceed € 10.000 before you have to declare it at customs…

Please note that I’m not offering to carry everybody else’s coins across the pond at this time. But I will take the opportunity to learn more about the security controls in place in consideration of becoming a coin mule in the future (taking the appropriate cut of each deal of course, given the high risks and heavy loads involved) 😂🤣😂🤣

Seriously, not sure how practical it’ll be to do swaps via a third person (the carrier) unless you live in the same city/town as this individual .
