The Grosia Banknotes should be in a new ruling authority. The Grosia Banknotes were issued by the Provisional Administration of Greece (1822–1827) and so they should be in that ruling authority.

As they have the emblem of the provisional government, were minted and distributed by it and are singed by The President  Alexander Mavrokordats. An other option would be to adjust the date on the ruling authority of the First Hellenic Republic 1828-1831 to 1822-1831 so that the Grosia BANKNOTES have a plase.

I just modified the year, is new currency needed as well?

Yes, the grosi (plural grosia) needs to be added as a Greek currency to Numista, from the years 1822 to 1828.
