I might be wrong, but it look like a token.
In the coins section I only found these two and it's not what you have.
50 Toea - Elizabeth II (South Pacific Games) - Papua New Guinea – Numista
10 Kina - Elizabeth II (9th South Pacific Games) - Papua New Guinea – Numista
Welcome to Numista. No denomination would eliminate describing this as a coin and it is not a token as it doesn't indicate that it is redeemable in any way. It is better described a medal or medallion in the exonumia section of our catalog. This would be a new addition to the Numista catalog. Numista is a work in progress and you can add it yourself if you like. Unfortunately I could not find any other information for this beautiful and impressive medal anywhere on the internet thus far. Apparently, it is new to most everybody.
I also second what @harryg said. The large size really screams ‘medal’ to me. Plus, it mentions the “9th South Pacific Games”, so I am guessing it’s a medal from those games 🤔
Probably a Bronze Medal from this event
That's very interesting, I couldn't figure anything out about it, Google hasn't really been helpful. Does someone know how to figure out the material?
