1904 Straits Settlements Dollar newly discovered variety or otherwise?

Hi all,

Not sure if this is a newly discovered variety or a fake. The "4" of the "1904" on the reverse seems futher away.

Image of the reverse.

Note that the "4" is midway between "0" and the floral.

Compared with a normal coin. The spacing of the "4" is closer to "0"

Could someone having the knowledge to shed some lights? Thanks.

I am sure this is not a newly discovered variety. It is described, but perhaps you are not understanding the existing verbiage. I believe yours is an example of the “wide high” variety. The 4 being wide of the 0 and higher than the 0 in 190 4
