Croatian Kuna - how long exchangeable after introduction of Euro? [solved]

3 posts • viewed 90 times

Hello,

beginning of next year Croatia will introduce the Euro.

Does anyone (already) know for how long the old Kuna notes can be exchanged after the switch? Maybe without deadline as in Germany or Austria or within a limited period of time? Did not find anything in the net.

I am asking as I am considering to get rid of my Kuna banknotes as long as they are good money - going to Croatia this summer - and getting new ones for my collection if and once they are finally expired and worth basically only the paper ( more or less :-)

best regards

in the end everything will be good - if it's not good, then it's not the end...

Coins 3 years, banknotes indefinitely.

Thank you.
