Make the Mexican Peso available for all state-level Mexican banknotes and remove the other individual state-level currencies, replacing them with Mexican Peso 1863-1992.

All states existed between 1863 and 1992? Because while they were using the same currency, year ranges might be differernt. If that is the case, we should go with little different approach.

No, some states were created after 1862.

Here's the issue I have with separate currencies for each state. The state designations (at least in the case of Mexico) aren't monolithic issuing authorities, they're convenient ways to organize coins and banknotes. Let's look at the capital district of Mexico for an example (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/mexico-banknotes-1.html#c_mexico_federal_district_notgeld150). We have the Bank of London and Mexico which issued notes from 1889 to 1913 and we also have at least four issues of provisional notes from the future government. Should we consider those to be a currency separate from the 1863 to 1992 peso? BdLyM issued under the authority of three presidents, before and during the Revolution. The four provisional issues were emitted by the future victor during the Revolution. The only thing they have in common is where they were issued and the fact that they are denominated in pesos.

In the case different issuers used same currency during different year span, there should be several entries in the database to show different year ranges.

In the future, it will be possible to search by currency, so I am already linking them.

Was it done?
