Been looking through my various coin albums and trying to decide which ones have the best features So far I like the Cornerstone albums. The biggest drawback is they don't continue the series after the album is full. For example I have their Wheat and Memorial cent albums -like them a lot- but there's nothing for the Union shield cents. Again- with the nickels the Jefferson album runs from 1938-2012 with no follow up album I like the albums because the contain a lot of information as well as being attractive. I like the way the coins are stored and protected -with both sides being displayed. They also appear to be well made. Sturdy enough to support the weight of all the coins Does anyone know if there are other albums of this type available?

I echo your thoughts on the Cornerstone albums. I wish they would secure the coin in a proper orientation but it's a small inconvenience for such a sturdy and beautiful album. Outside of these I've been using the standard Whitman albums. I have a few generic albums without dates for the newer coins until such time as either Cornerstone or Whitman come out with an updated version.
Warman's is good because they will make one folder for a long period of time instead of breaking that time frame up into smaller Sections however it's sometimes hard finding their non wheat penny and state quarter/park quarter albums so I then do Whitman. However they don't show both sides. However for Canadian coins Lighthouse albums are pretty good they show both sides but if only they did USA coins as well.

Thanks for your thoughts on canadian coins. They are my #2 collection behind the US. I've been using unisafe and whitman for those. The whitman ones tend to loosen up and let the coins fall out. The unisafe has little pockets that keep the coins secure but they rub and blur the plastic. For most of my other raw coins I just use 2x2 flips in pages in a binder. I'm pretty heavy into the NGC Registry and have a lot of certified coins. You can view my sets on the ngc website. Of course I use storage boxes for those. I'd like to find some albums for my canadians that are like the cornerstones. Or even another series that's comparable for both US and canada.
