Raphael (Bhutan set and 2 souvenir sheets), Titian (Equatorial Guinea souvenir sheet)

What little-known American movie released in 1974 (known by at least 4 titles) incorrectly claimed at the end of some prints to feature Linda Ronstadt in the cast?

The winning entry will be the first received that gives one of the 4 titles at or before 12 noon July 18, 2022 eastern US time. If no correct entry is received the winner will be the first response received. My decision as to the winner will be final.

Competition is open to all who choose to participate and multiple entries are fine. Good luck!

Will,

You have a knack for finding questions that are resistant to obvious googling.  IMDB doesn't show anything for her from that year, even with an asterisk for a mistake.

So even though I can't find anything to back this up, I will go with Chinatown as I've heard it had alternative titles and I know that Linda Ronstadt was politically active in areas that this movie addressed.

Looking forward to the correct answer.

Bill

And I just caught “little known” in the question, so I'm out.  Anyway, still looking forward to the results.

rsirian1, great job in finding the correct answer. Without actually seeing the movie, I thought this would be very hard. I have actually seen the movie but wish I hadn't.

Everyone keep watching for the next competition! It might be awhile though.

Thanks.  Took awhile of Googling.  I almost fell off my chair when I saw that newspaper add.

Beautiful stamps!  Thanks, Will.
