There's another anniversary right around the corner! 1 July 2022 marks 70 years since young Elizabeth the Second first graced the Hong Kong one-dollar note. (First issue on 1 July 1952)

Tomorrow, the sun will rise over a cloudy sky. The trumpets will herald the arrival of the PLA helicopters flying the National Flag over the waters of Victoria Harbour. Our nation's Leader will gloat in his private little sealed-off world about how Hong Kong is safe and secure and prospering under the decisive leadership of the Communist Party of China. And I will hold a private little numismatist's celebration, with God Save the Queen blasting at full volume.

Sounds like you are a monarchist who hates what the Communist regime in Beijing & what the puppet regime in Hong Kong stands for.

 

I can understand why a lot of Hong Kongers have fled to the U.K..
