Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Thus the PDR represents a fake.

In which way the article and similar to it can describe real country?

T the actual "request": We are shortening the commemorated events on the name so we would not have overly long names.

I've seen many of your overly aggressive posts, but this one has to be the most useless of them all.

Everyone with even half a brain should be able to understand what the meaning of the shortened name is so there really is no problem here. Insulting the people of Laos wont make the problem more real.

It seems the Laos government has no problem with the use of PDR, unless of course, this site is fake.

We could do just Republic and get rid of the abbreviation (it's written out in the event field) but islander might get an aneurysm.

The term ‘P.D.R.’ is literally a Communist way to describe their hypocritical system - in which neither the people themselves are in governmental decision-making, nor is their system remotely democratic, considering all Communist-ruled states are single-party regimes.

In Laos's case, the ‘P.D.R.’ is part of its official name - as is the case for the official name of North Korea.
