The Nobel Peace Prize that Russian journalist Dmitry Muratov was auctioning off to raise money for Ukrainian child refugees has sold for $103.5m (£84.5m)

Here the public auction takes place medals and members nothing?

But the proceeds from the auction really go to responsible activity.

Powerful video & incredible, resilient spirit demonstrated by both journalists. Its great that the Nobel committee recognized their bravery & professional dedication.   Dmitry Muratov dedicated his award to all the journalists who've laid their lives on the line to tell their stories. Amazing stuff.

What's not reported in the article MIMAEL posted is that Heritage Auctions waved all their fees and commissions completely.  Not sure how much that is on a $103.5 M sale but I imagine it's appreciable.

a co-worker of mine recently contacted them about how to sell a vintage video game with them, and their literature said 15% fees..
