The Lao and Khmer scripts are very similar each other, so no wonder! The Lao script is more rounded though. Even Thai script is similar to these two (but in the banknote world Thailand always has its king on the banknotes, so that's what to look out for). But if you cannot find a banknote in the Cambodia catalogue, you can always try Laos as well. Both countries uses temples and such on their banknotes as well. 😇
