Can anyone help with identification? [solved]

This seems to be a 1 cent coin, but of a yellow colour. Same specifications as the 1 cent 2003 (non magnetic). N#424

I think it could be elecroplated, but I have only limited experience with Plating.

Any ideas what this might be?

Thank you in advance.

 Plated is correct.

If you're asking about the gold color plating, it's is PMD so it's not too common relative to the total amount of unplated coins.  If your asking about the total mintage of 2003 coins, it's considerably less than the 2001 coins.
