Weight and diameter to start with, please.
See scan - perfect XF condition. This is a nice and rare 1900 Bulgarian immitation of Imperial Russian 4 ducat coin of Emperor Alexander II bearing mint mark BK - with 2nd type legend on obverse. The coin was struck in Bulgaria and bears Royal Bulgarian counterstamp / hallmark. This 4 ducats coin is 22 karat solid gold and weighs approximately 12.7 grams. There is the usual cancelation hole on top, regulary done so to all coins of these issues. Obverse: S.M.ALEXANDER.II.R.IMPERATOR with portrait of Russian Emperor Alexander II, Reverse: ZL.AT.EN.PE.ND.AR.1900 ZA.NA.KIT.GAR.XXII KR (4) with Imperial Russian double headed crowned eagle coat of arms / crest. These 4 ducat gold coins were thoroughly described at Basok's "Complete Catalog of Four Ducat Coins with Bulgarian Counterstamps under the names of Alexander II of Russia, Franz Joseph of Austria, Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, Boris III of Bulgaria". Scarce and rare numismatic collector piece and one of the rare Imperial Russian and Bulgarian gold coins and ducats.

something like it is in our catalog
Think he knew that since he posted the N# already with a lengthy sales pitch. Why do I get the impression he's hoping to sell it here without actually saying so?

Dont know.
It is interesting that the one in the catalogue has a different year as well as mint mark.
Without further authentication, the weight at least, it is impossible to put a price on it.
No I don't intend to sell it here. Im from Bulgaria, so I would go to a numismatic shop and give it for sell, but just wanted to get some expert advice on what the price range would be. Couldn't find anything on the internet besides the info I posted
There are multiple sold examples of the 1905 4 Ducat online, here's one sold for 1500 CHF, there is also one here but you need to register to the site to see the sold price and multiples examples here but you also need to register.
Register to the sites that need registration and find out their sold prices then figure out a median price based on those. Yours will be worth ½ or ⅓ of the median price since it has a hole in it.
As for authenticating the coin I'm not an expert on Bulgarian coins and cannot say if it is or isn't authentic although, judging by the details on obverse portrait, it isn't looking good. The reason other members are asking for the coins weight is to try and authenticate it. You need to give us this specific coins weight, not info on this type found online.
13 grams is about right, should be 12.79 (minus the hole) but this is a kitchen scale. If the diameter is 39mm there is a chance the coin is authentic. My suggestion is to take it to a jeweler to have it tested for gold. If real the value will be at least melt value 665 euro or more. Good luck! 🙂
yes, the weight means a lot.
the mint mark remains to be explained.
If genuine, gold value +15%
