A new coin has recently been added to Syria

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces326953.html

which appears to be a duplicate of this coin

N#11264

The only substantial difference is in the weight but there's no comment to indicate two different thicknesses. If there's a good reason for both to remain, can whoever created the second entry please add some explanatory comments? If not, can we please remove N# 326953 and move owners to N#11264?

Agreed this is a duplicate. What is weird is that I had in mint that this 2.5 Piastres coin was already existing but a quick search using Syria and 2.5 as criteria didn't lead to a match.

The new one can be deleted.

For whatever reason in a search for face value 2.5 does not equal 2 1/2.

Reason is face value is 0.025 also the title is ‘2½’ and the value in word form ‘2 1/2 Piastres’ so it's a mishmash.
