Or, j'aimerai pouvoir trier cette liste par indice de rareté afin d'améliorer le catalogue en commençant par les pièces les moins communes de ma collection.

C'est bizarre, mais mes pièces sont triées par pays dans ma collection, donc le trie d'aujourd'hui me semble adéquat. Mais si quelqu'un a ses pièces triés par rareté index, c'est vraiment son problème à lui.

My contribution s would be, asked for by numista, since I have these coins in my collection:
as you might notice the suggestions come by country (as I have organized my collection), so I just have to take out a folder(or several) for a given country once to go through the coins, where I can contribute! A natural way of doing things, like for me, hence my opposition to your proposal, where a not really “valid” rarity index would be the priority, the more scarce, the more urgent to contribute! It's against any logic, in my humble opinion. Please “repair” the catalog for most users and not for the few.
These contributions by the way are sometimes resulting in double work, since other members might have the coins in their contribution lists, so you take the images and what have you, make your CR, and the find out that another member already had updated the file! If that could be avoided, the double, triple or whatever work, I would vote for that!
