German counter token different than other known tokens - please help me identify this

1 post • viewed 65 times
Hello everyone.
I have found this token in a mixed lot that I have recently bouught, and it puzzles me.
I am not an expert in exonumia, so I tried to find info but could not find much.
The token looks like several types of Nurnberg "rechpfennig" (here is one example: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/exonumia149384.html ), but the engraver name doesn't match with any other that I could find online. The token is in bad state, as you can see in the pictures, but I think I can read something like "F. ARNHOLD" where in most similar tokens you can see other names.
I've found a "FRANZ ARNHOLD" who made other tokens in Germany, but with a different design.
I hope someone can help me identify this.
Thank you in advance for any help! :)
