Can anyone confirm that this is a 1 Rupee Wajid Ali ? It weighs 12 grams and is approximately 25mm in diameter.

Yes it is coin of Awadh - Wajid Ali dated AH1272/RY#8
Mint name reads as 'Bait-us-Sultanat Lakhnau Mulk Awadh Akhtarnagar'
