My "deja-vu" comment was because some of these coins got posted a few days ago on another forum.
Not Templar. It was issued by Hugh IV, Duke of Burgundy. I wasn't aware that Templars struck any coins, but my knowledge of medieval issuers is not comprehensive.
I know that other "orders" struck coins in Malta, and the Baltic (Teutonic Order, Livonia).
There are unscrupulous sellers of coins who take any coin with a cross that was minted vaguely in the medieval era and assign attributions like "Crusader" or "Templar."
There ARE coins that were minted in the "Crusader States" (Middle Eastern states ruled by European nobles in the 12th-15th centuries). You can do your research by looking through this section in the catalog before you buy.
