Modify after confirm

Hi, can I modify or add coins after confirm swapping? All process was done properly but I had received a message that one coin was not available anymore, now I want to replace this one by other one from same user but I cannot on the same exchange process.

What I have done in the past is agree in writing on the coin you want to replace the missing coin. So far I had no problems.
