It must be this coin: Afghanistan, 1/3 Rupee, KM# 541 (this coin is not yet in our catalog, so please add your beautiful coin):



Unfortunately there's no weight in Krause. The similar Rupee Parimal showed is around 9 g. so I would have assumed a 1/3 Rupee would be around 3 g. Anyway, the diameter fits perfectly for the 1/3 Rupee. Maybe Parimal can shine a light about the weight of fractional Rupees?

The date should be on the obverse in the lower left corner, partly off flan. It can only be AH1297 or AH1298 so I believe it's AH1298 but hopefully Parimal can confirm (or deny) this.

I am not much aware of the fractional coinage of Afghanistan. Ideally a Rupee is 11.5-11.6 grams weight, so the weight 1.5gm looks more close to 1/8 Rupee.
The date is most likely to be AH1298
