Hello all,

Could "Al-Fashir, Sudan (1909-1914)" be added to the list of mints?

It is needed for these coins.

Quick question, for the last couple of mints that have been added, they do not show up on the map. Is this intentional?

Al-Fashir was the capital of the Sultanate of Darfur - therefore, it should be 'Al-Fashir, Darfur' - NOT ‘Al-Fashir, Sudan’.

 

Darfur was actually independent from Sudan under Sultan Ali Dinar.

Location is related to todays borders, so Sudan is ok.

Not correct, as Al-Fashir was the Sultanate of Darfur's capital city.

Sudan did have its own mint at Omdurman, but this closed in 1898.

 

Sudan now has a mint in Khartoum.
