Edit: I am not sure how we normally handle it when the ruler does not change but the status of the issuer does. For instance:
- John Francis is Lord of Mantua 1419-1433, but in 1433 Mantua becomes a Margravate, and he becomes Marquess of Mantua
- Frederick II is Marquess of Mantua 1519-1530. Mantua is then elevated to a duchy so he becomes the first Duke (1530 - ), but then the Margravate of Monferrato is added to the domains in 1536, so he becomes Duke of Mantua and Marquess of MOnferrato (each time the titles used in the coin legends change accordingly).
