I have come across several "Essai" coins for various West Africans nations in the catalog. They are all made of gold, dated 2007, and worth 25 000 Francs. Here's are the links:
I am suspicious as to their authenticity. Several of them have a"X" reference numbers and one is already in exonumia as a fantasy piece. I am posting here to get further opinions and information.
Edit: I am now calling for these "coins" to be moved to exonumia.

In the comments for all of these "coins" it reads:
"Joseph [Joe] Lang of Steve Album coins [The specialist dealer for Islamic coins], there is a 'JL' in the obverse field. He said all seven types for countries in the West African Monetary Union were given their own designs to present to officials in those countries. They were given the opportunity to celebrate with this NCLT the English abolition of slavery in 1807, like Great Britain had. They all declined!"
Since the coins in the original post all have the "JL" mark on the obverse, I believe that it is reasonable to assume that they come from the same person. Therefore, they should all be moved to exonumia with the same note.
