Swapping logistics advice needed

All-

Hello- I've been more or less lurking here for a number of years, during which time my local coin shop changed hands and now does not bother with selling inexpensive foreign "pocket change". So, my collection has stagnated recently and it seems time for me to do some swapping via this community. Due to budget constraints, I'm mostly looking for inexpensive, 20th and 21st Century circulating coins, though I do have an interest in some 19th Century coins, particularly from Latin America.

I've gone over the website and have a general understanding how this works, but there are still a few things that are confusing me. I've entered a couple hundred of my duplicates for swapping (and have a couple hundred more to add... slowly...), and I've entered about 600 non-duplicates from my collection, just for the heck of it. However, I have a *lot* of coins and I doubt I will ever spend the time to enter them all.

The problem is: how do I make a list of what I'm interested in without entering ALL of the coins in my collection? I started making a "wish list", but it appears that function only indicates what *types* I'm interested in, not specific years or varieties. Is there any convenient workaround, or will I have to enter all my coins for each country if I want to clearly indicate which years of which types I'm interested in?

I'm trying to avoid that because I'm missing at least a couple of coins (if not dozens, or more!) from virtually every country, but only very specific ones. I'm sure plenty of you have these as duplicates, and I hope some of my duplicates are helpful to others, but I'm unsure how to proceed. Any thoughts or advice?

Cheers,

Not sure if this advice would help but the good thing about loading your collection in Numista is that, when you want to swap, you can apply the convenient filters on the prospect swap partner and see if they have what you are missing in the first place.

What I would suggest is that you take the time to load your collection "quickly", entering only the year(s) for each type disregarding any other information (value, grade, etc).
While it will take some time, you may be able to identify varieties and it will set you up for easier and more successful swaps.
My 2 cents.
