I am from India, I have two Indian Feudal state coins. These are to be identified to add in my collection.
If any of our members identify them, it will be helpful to me.
The pictures of them (Obverse and Reverse ) given. 1 coin is of thin steel/aluminum and another of thick copper
button like.
Thanks in advance,
Rasa

Mr. ZakUK.,
I have sent details like this. Is not sufficient? Please advise .Thanks,
rasa
That is better. The other topic just had text, no links or pictures.
But even now those pictures above could be better - they are 90% background.
Will crop them in a minute ...

Only three pictures - the 4th is the same as the 3rd one.

1. [Diam: 10 mm / Thick: 3 mm]

Edit: Second picture removed, so now just 1st and 3rd shown.

Thank you Mr.ZakUk for cropping the picture and make it clear.
As for the left over item, I shall let you have it tomorrow

rasa.
OK, thanks. I hope someone knows what they are. :)
Also, what are their diameters, as that may help identification?

Attn.: Mr.ZacUK.

First, let me apologize for the incorrect information given to Numista,
I should not have approached for the two different coins at the same time.

First coin of item 1 and 1st coin of item 2, are the 2 pages of the copper coin.
- Its dia. is 1 cm. and thickness - o.3 cm.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please ignore the 2nd coin of item 1 (steel/aluminum) for now.
I shall present the two pages of this coin later.

This will eliminate confusion created by me.
Regards.

Attn. Mr. ZacUK, : The two pages of the steel/aluminum coin are given below .
Now, I request you to do the needful.

Thickness: 0.1 cm. Diameter: 1.5 cm.
I cropped them, and think they are now rotated correctly, but not sure
about new rotation of the second picture (which I filled in the solder part) ...
2. [Diam: 15 mm / Thick: 1 mm]

Thanks. Hope some one can identify the origin of issue, value etc.
Maybe on second picture that is ١١٨٧ which is 1187AH (1773) date?

The two coins which I presented for identification is still not solved completely.
I would like to know the country or state issued as also its face value.
Mr. ZakUK has taken effort to a certain extent. Some other member also can help in this issue.
The purpose of coming to the Forum is defeated, if not solved.
To Mr. Konstantin 1968 : Greetings to you,
I submitted my request for identifying 2 coins. Mr.ZakUk has taken effort to a certain extent.
The query is not solved. I find that you have sorted out many issues. Can you help me in
getting a solution for the two coins mentioned.
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
rasa

I agree with Zac that ١١٨٧ could be the year 1187 AH (AD 1773).

However, this is a token imitating a coin, with poor imitation of Arabic. On the first two lines on the obverse:

سلطان (Sultan)
محمد خان (Muhammad Khan)

I'm not sure about the third line but the real coins of this period are in the catalogue. By comparing, it should be possible to know.

These tokens are regularly displayed here on Numista for identification, so they seem to be quite common.

P.S. Moderators may have many queries in queue, still , I like to have my problem solved.

Hello rasa,

You can do this on your own, and trying to identify a coin is the fun part. Look at this search:

Numista catalogue search

and look at the section I did this in: “Exonumia”, and the search term: "سلطان" (or you can try “sultan”). If you don't see your token, then it is not yet in the catalogue. Still, you can see that some are quite similar.

Hi Camerinvs,

Thank you for your suggestion. Let me search “sultan” in “Exonumia”,

rasa
