Similar but not the same.
One does not have a wreath around the reverse, the other does.

It is a Civil War Token (CWT). Much study has been put into these and you have a Patriotic Type (the other two types being Storecard and Cent Facsimile).

You may be able to match your dies (obverse, Miss Liberty - Liberty Cap + reverse, Military Trophies) using this wonderful website...

You may even find it in the Numista database under Exonumia - Unclassified - Miscellaneous tokens. (As you can see, we here at Numista still have some work to do as one can hardly call these little gems "unclassified").

I believe yours is not a Confederate token. If it were, it would command a very, healthy premium in the CWT collectible market.

Hoping this is helpful.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble.  It's what you know for sure, that just ain't so.  Mark Twain
Hello,
I went looking on the Numista page for American exonumia dated 1863 and I could not find the specific coin pictured, though I did find one that looks somewhat similar.

I don't have much knowledge of American Civil War tokens, though I do know that many of then are from the middle to late-war period to try to alleviate the coin shortage (another shortage occurred in the late 1830s which resulted in private tokens as well). Most of the tokens are from the Union. The token pictured seems to me to be a Union one because the obverse has thirteen stars representing the thirteen original colonies. Confederate tokens tend to have fifteen stars to represent the states seceded, though there are some with thirteen. I imagine there are people more knowledgeable in these tokens that could help.
thx everyone
