1787 Brasher Doubloon link in Numista wanted [solved]

3 posts • viewed 249 times
Hi
First let me say, I do not have one, but I do have two different versions of copies of this early American coin
That being said, I found it once ( the actual Brasher Doubloon) listed in Numista, now I can't find it to save my life
All I wanted to do was include it as a link to my two copies
Any help is greatly appreciated!
The first one weighs in at 6.78 grams 30 Millimeters, as far as what it is made of, it would only be a guess of gold plated pewter, ( I can bend it by hand), the second weighs in at 12.42 grams 30.5 millimeters with the word COPY stamped on the edge, my guess is Brass

How are you searching it was quite easy? A commemorative coin that listed it helped me a bit in this case but searching under exonumia would have been my second search.

Thank you so much, clearly I was not putting in the correct info, B.8)
