I noticed this 5 Shilling coin is listed (N# 12759) with No Date.

LINK

It's a 300-year commemorative issue coin (1652 - 1952) and is listed in the South African Herne Catalogue 2020 (S317) in "1952"
The dates have been verified it seems, but I can't find any threads on the matter.
Is there a reason why it's listed as No Date, or can someone update it?

Thanks!
Martin
Definitely dated 1952.

Aidan.
If memory serves me correctly, there was a Numista policy change on this some time back.

Before the change, commemoratives that indicated the date in formats like "1652 - 1952" and had no other date indications were catalogued as "No Date". After the change, coins like these would have been catalogued (using the current example) as 1952.

I think the problem here is that nobody updated this coin record. It should definitely be recorded as 1952.

Because the date lines are closed for this coin, your best bet is to message the referee for South Africa and ask him to make the change.
The date has been updated to 1952.
Thank you!
Martin
