Hi all, I have an 1859 Edinburgh Lodge Penny. Caledonian Society. Lodge No.392. I did a Google Search and it led me here. The search states rarity number of 97 . Can anyone give me more information, or an approximate value please.
thank you. Rod.
I can guess that is a Masonic token from Scotland.

Please upload photos if you can.

Aidan.
Definitely worth adding to the Exonumia catalogue.

The design reminds me of the St. Andrew's 1/2 Penny currency tokens in circulation in the 1790's.

Aiden, to be honest I don't know anything about coins and such.... Any idea of a value, and if anyone would be interested in acquiring it??
Hello and welcome to Numista. Your token is listed here and a Numista Rarity Index of 97 just means that only 1 or 2 members on Numista have added this token to their collection. Unfortunately, the NRI has no relation to scarcity or quantity of pieces produced.

Ahh OK. Makes it clearer. Thanks for that. Value??
Not really my field, similar c.18th copper tokens tend to go for between £15 and £50, depending upon scarcity and grade - yours is fairly worn.
