I'm having troubles finding a documentation on the usage of wish list and missing coins. Any links? The Quick Tutorial is just a start, and seems outdated (dated 2013).
As I am new here, I want to set up my several 1000 coins correctly right away, it's a one shot for me to get a hold on this. And these lists seem to be crucial.
Wish list:
- I learned that the wish list will be visible to other collectors for coin swaps.
- So this list cannot be used as a "100% target" or frame for my collection, where I tag what I already have?
- The coins I don't need or want will certainly not be this list, so why is there an explizit list "Coins I don't wish to have"? As there are dozens of 1000s of coins in the World I don't wish to have - why should I mark them all?
Missing coins
- The coin search allows to search for " all the coins/banknotes I'm missing".
- Is this another list I can edit somewhere or is this calculated by Numista?
- What is the difference to my wish list, or in other words, why should I not have a missing coin on my wish list?
As said these lists seem to be powerful search criteria if set up correctly. I guess it's all explained somewhere, and I'm the only blind since 2013, but a hint would be great. (and maybe an update of the Quick Tutorial)
