Hi all, for a while I have been bothered by that on Numista coin and banknote pages there is the option to mark a coin as "demonetized" and the items' date of withdrawal, but no distinction for coins and notes that are still redeemable by the issuer/authority but no longer accepted by the public. This is a very common case for many coins and banknotes that in many cases have no time limit, but an official date of change of legal tender status. Coins that come to mind are 50p and 1 pound coins, older large 50 yen coins, pre-90's Danish coins, among others; banknotes of "note" are 1947 100 yen notes, 1 & 2 Canadian dollar notes, pre-92 Mexico pesos antiguos, older large series 1000-20000 won notes, etc.

Perhaps we could have an option "Redeemable" below "Demonetized" when No or Unknown is selected. Curious to see what you all think. Thanks

(also have been applying known printer information to all notes the past couple weeks, very happy to see the progress I've made! :) )

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
