If you are willing to, you can share things you did on Halloween, for example what costumes you wore, how much candy you had stocked up or received (if you went trick-or-treating at all), and any amusing things you happened upon in general. Happy Halloween!

I don’t celebrato Halloween since it is not part of our tradition

you must be on the west side of the map then if you have already celebrated halloween because its still oct 31st in the U.S. and has not tuned night yet nor has it become nov. 1st but all that said my family really has put a lot of effort into custom costumes before covid however since covid we have felt like we spent enough energy over the years to say that we need a brake so we are planning to just watch a scary movie this time around and last year it was the movie Krampus or a movie about Krampus but not titled Krampus

Trick or treating was banned under level 3 Covid Restrictions here. However Halloween displays went up. There were not many, but here was a good one.

This was near my home in Auckland, New Zealand.

Halloween is different here as its late spring, not late autumn and it does not get dark until after 8pm, also its warmer and greener here. This year has been very wet and gloomy though.

Celebrating it only took off in the 1990s, as its considered too American and we are more British (We celebrate Guy Fawkes on November 5th). Trick or treating is less safe and mostly done in daylight, there is controversy as people from poor areas are dumped in richer areas to trick or treat and stranger danger is an issue.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

Halloween comes from all hallows eve and dates back in its roots from early Celtic people in Ireland celebrating and remembering the dead on this day.

in Germany where I live there is not much except for the odd pumpkin here and there and some children in disguise.
in my area here in Germany it is a public holiday today as we celebrate all hallows day (Allerheiligen).

We don’t celebrate Halloween but because I’m half Mexican we celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the dead) in which we remember all our family and friends who have died in the past. By building an altar for them and putting gifts for them next to the persons portrait such as food, drinks and their favourite items from when they were alive.

This year, we did things a little different. It was our Granddaughter's 1st Birthday on the 26th and our daughter asked us if we could hold a Halloween party in which family and friends to come to our house as most lived a lot closer to us than to them.
About 22 family and friends arrived just before our start time of midday. Three different hot foods had been prepared, with lots of children's snacks, fruit ect. Weather was very kind to us, so we were able to go outside in our garden for some photographs and a bit of play time with the older children.
A few dressed up but not all.
In the middle of the afternoon "Happy Birthday" was sung to our granddaughter Quinn, and the single candle was blown out and then cut and enjoyed.
Those who lived furthest away started drifting home just after 5pm. All had gone by 8pm and we had a small start on the clearing up.
A great day was enjoyed by all, and we had some nice messages.
The next day, the bigger clear up started, with the removal of 6 pumpkins, loads of autumnal leaves, balloons and a very small amount of food. All furniture was then put back and we were done.

We, my wife and I, thoroughly enjoyed the preparation, the day itself and clearing up, so all in all, a great time
