The ottoman empire was gone by 1920.

When you say money do you mean banknotes?

The Ottoman sultanate was not abolished until 1 November 1922. The 1920 Treaty of Sevres partitioning the Ottoman Empire had allowed the sultan to retain his title and position. From Wikipedia. All I know about the money I am asking about is that it was paper money, depends how people define banknotes. Not sure it was issued by an actual bank.

I think the country was the North Caucasian Emirate and the notes were printed in Grozny, Chechnya.
They say "Pecunia non olet", but I know better...

Congratulations qwerty844448, Vedeno is correct! smvdbrink, North Caucasian Emirate is the country but according to Wikipedia money was printed in Vedeno.

qwerty844448, I will send you a PM asking where you want your stamps sent!

Still plenty of future prizes left. Many will not fit in the envelopes I am currently using so for non-US I might have to declare them to Customs as gifts, which they are. So if you have a problem with that do not enter. I will note the prizes that require oversize envelopes.

Good luck to all future participants!
