Hungary was also my thought (Arpad-Angevin) but I dont recall a type with letters to the side like that (also not really my area of expertise)

If you turn the reverse photo 180 degrees, we now see it is a coin of Moldavia.

Probably, you are right, great job. While the back side is not the same, this can be one of coins of Moldavia.

Sorry for the late reply, the numista page for Moldavia is a lot more complete now. It must be this one: N#195080 , and i added your variation as i didnt know about it until now, its the first example i see. Its the "RC | "И" to LS" (Rosette left, crescent right | "И" to the left of the shield), the abbreviations are in the comments.
