As you can see in numista Hyderabad has gotten two yearlines for this variant, but in my opinion it should have been Mumbay, see my documentation above and this part of PM:

Who can verify the 0.8% on the Hyderabad coin?

There is another variant of this coin, but I don't know if it's too researched for numista? Does it deserve two yearlines? I don't think so, but it should be mentioned in the comments.

I'll await the reactions to this message, before making any Change Requests.

I don't quite follow you on this one Ole. Of course they deserve two year lines. Not because of the difference in the reeding but because of the different mint marks. And because of the different mint marks the difference in the reeding really doesn't mean much.
Hi you're right, the thing is I made a mistake, since the B and the N mint marks both have the two variants. I'll put it right, if I still have the 4 coins.

I actually made the Noida documentation in those days, I just see, here it is

Now I'll try to find the Mumbai...

Now it's a different story.
I think measuring a difference of less than half a mm makes a lot of members bananas, but for the Noida Mint, that groove in the middle makes it a very distinguishable variety and in my opinion, varieties which are so clearly to see deserve a year line of their own.
That was 7 years ago, I was young (68 sommers) and not caring too much. Now the hour of truth has come, lucky enough, I'm being controlled! Which is very good, since I can still modify my files. Later it might not be possible!

I have found the two different 2 rupee 2011B coins, but I have a doubt about the mark on the plain edge coin, just have a look:

Is it really a diamond or not. I always saw it when looking at the coin with a magnifying glass and moving it under the light, but I'll document not it, if nobody will vote for a diamond.

On this picture I can't see a diamond. But it's like you say, when you have the coin in hand you can change the angle and let the light fall in an ideal way.
This is the area where the diamond should be:

There must be better coins to take the pictures from.
Probably, but it is the only one I have with a plain edge. Actually I just saw that I have two doubles, which I'll try to dig out to have a look at them.

Might be.

My two doubles are both with the 1.4 mm gap! So, I don't have two variants for the Mumbai mint. So is life. But I have a coin with an unidentified mint mark!

HI thanks for sharing, did you try to look at edges of all the coins from Mumbai. If you find different ones, that would interest me a lot.

Yes, Noida has gotten edge varieties, (and I think Mumbai as well, hence my question):

Thanks in advance for you appreciated help in this matter.
