I never find any gold coins. Anybody else?

Not a chance. Doesn't matter anyway. If I did find the discovery mentioned in the article in Ireland, the coins would legally belong to the state.
Naturally. Government help themselves and are the first to step in to claim their share. Then the lawyers, then the auction house, then the previous owners, then the current owners, then the folks who actually found it. After everybody gets their cut, the folks that actually found it can treat themselves to a Happy Meal at McDonalds. Maybe.:O
To be fair, the process is finder to the government to a museum. All artifacts belong to the state and not to the government in power at the time of discovery. A government shouldn't profit out of a discovery and neither should lawyers. That's the theory anyway.
