1,958 of August's new members selected a nation. 127 nations are represented this month. 386 are American, 256 are French, 216 are Indian, 154 are British, 117 are Filipino, and 78 are Canadian.

35 users from August still have not selected a nation.

There were notable surges in memberships from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Chad, China, Egypt, French Polynesia, Mauritius, Myanmar and Puerto Rico.

Albania, American Samoa, Andorra, Armenia, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Bhutan, Bolivia, British Virgin Islands, Cambodia, Cameroon, Congo, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Honduras, Iceland, Iraq, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Moldova, Mozambique, New Caledonia, North Korea, Oman, Saint Lucia, Saint Pierre & Miquelon, Senegal, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe each gained one new member.

Egypt passed Norway for 34th rank.

Of the top 30 nations, the Philippines grew the fastest in August (2.7% increase), while Malaysia grew the slowest (0.6%). The USA grew by 1.3% and France grew by 1.1%.
