Off the top of your head- any coins that are 40mm or larger?  I've done a little searching, and can only find the Solomon Islands trifecta:

Any other ideas?

It was so large it was given the 'cartwheel' nickname. Or do you mean only current coins?  8)

Well that's a little unfair... that's  a bird.   B.
As a youngster, I like to find NZ pre-decimal and foreign coins that had made It's way into circulated coinage.

The thought of holding a object of the past with it's hidden history really intrigued me as a youngster...and still does.
Outstanding!  Just to clarify, I don't only mean current coins, although I'd prefer if they were circulated, non-commemorative.  But any huge coins will do... thanks for the info!!! :8D

In America, we call that coin an American eagle or silver eagle for short.
Many thalers are much larger than 40mm

I have this one : Tonga 2 Pa'anga - Taufa'ahau Tupou IV (FAO)
American Eagle, it's called a coin, I love them, but it's only made for bullion. not really a coin
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Trying to get a coin from each UN country with circulating coins. 20 to go!
My largest coins are 1mm short.  8.
I have this coin: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces7569.html and a bunch of Mexican bi-metal 100 pesos of the same size.

Hello scceda, I noticed on the Numista catalogue listing for the 5 Roubles there is no weight listed and it's not given in Krause either. If you have the coin, do you have scales with which you can weigh your coin so we can update the database?
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.

Sure! My coin weighs 30.90g. Probably its nominal weight should be 31g, right?
BTW, I totally forgot about French silver 50 francs. Yes, I do have a couple of coins over 40mm.  :8D

Sorry, it's non-circulation. I only took an interest in this one coin, otherwise, I was happy with the Silver Eagle being my largest. The Panama 20 Balboas are about 4 oz. of silver and 61mm/2.4".

Many of the 17th or 18th century Thalers (not to mention 2 or 3 Thaler coins) were larger than 40 mm in diameter. E.g. this one as about 47 mm.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.

The world's largest is now the Australian $1,000,000  .999 pure gold coin at 800 mm.
