Canada 1 Dollar 1973, P#85

Good day,

I recently bought this banknote on banknoteworld.com; the example I own is nearly the same serial number as the one pictured.

Here is our page for that same note. I'm attempting to add my note, but there's a problem: none of the date lines seem to fit my note, and the date list is locked, meaning it's presumed complete. Coins and Canada does list the EAJ prefix, so there's another reference besides the pictured note on banknoteworld.

Now, I looked at the date list till my eyes glazed over, so maybe I'm missing something. banknoteworld.com lists the note as P#85b, explicitly the lithograph print, and it clearly has Lawson and Bouey signatures. Our date lines offer Lawson/Bouey EAX 0000000 → EAX 1059999, but mine is EAJ 3572115, outside that range. There's a date line for a generic Lawson/Bouey P#85a, but that looks like a line left in place from before the dates were expanded to include serial ranges.

After attempting to add it myself and finding the screen telling me to come to the forum, here I am. Have I just overlooked something with my bad old eyes or is there a date line missing or what?
The EAX ones are replacement notes. P85a are Lawson & Bouey all double letter prefix and triple letter prefix up to AFE. P85b are Lawson & Bouey from AFF and after. Yours is a P85b. The Numista page is missing this line.

Hello rsirian1,

Your banknote is EAJ3572101 and has the signatures Lawson & Bouey.
In order to make pages shorter, we do not list every single Prefix independently.

Every Prefix that has been printed out completely from 0000001 à 9999999, such as for your EAJ, is listed among all others that have been printed out completely.
Only test notes, replacement notes or changover notes will have a specific line because they are very often scarse.

You can safe your banknote under :

No. That line only covers P#85a with engraved back. EAJ serial numbers are P#85b with lithographed back. There is not a line covering P#85b banknotes except for replacement notes.

Hello rsirian1,

Sorry ... I must be tiered, my bad.
I just added the missing line for P#85b !
