I already mentioned that in a different forum post, but because it seemed to be a bigger topic, I wanted to give it its own post.
Every referee and therefore every issuer has slight differences in their rules (official or not). For Monegasque coins, for example, the Essai coins seem to be included in the normal coin entry, as long as the metal is the same. I believe I saw some Piedfort issues in there too in the past. I don't know if that's the case for other countries as well. If that shouldn't be the case and there should be separate coin entries for the Essai coins, then someone would have to go through all these Monegasque coin entries and has to delete them. I would gladly do it, but the year lines are locked
.If it should stay that way, then nothing has to be done obviously. But then, I won't add all the missing Essai coins with the same metal, because I don't want to make dozens of forum posts for all the missing year lines I'm not allowed to add myself.
