Could anyone help me to identify this coin? [solved]

Hi,

I am new to Numista.
I have a small collection of Indian coins including Mughal Silver and Copper coins.
But unfortunately I lack experience identifying these coins.
Can anyone give some guidance?

Here is an example.

I was unable to match it with any of the Dam images in the catalogue..

Thanks in advance.

Hello , welcome aboard :8D
It's a Jital of the Sultanate of Dehli

Next time please indicate the diameter and a precise weight, it helps for identification.

Yes, Dehli Sultanate, the referenced coin is pretty close but the writing has a couple of significant differences from the coin in question. If you provide a weight to the nearest tenth of a gram and diameter to the nearest mm it is probably possible to find a more precise attribution.

Edit: just happened to come across it a little later
