Stamp Giveaway # 10 (UPU) [solved]

7 posts • viewed 91 times
A lot of countries and philatelic agencies tried to milk collectors for the 1974 anniversary. The prize this time is some Equatorial Guinea souvenir sheets and Manama labels almost certainly without postal value as the United Arab Emirates took over postal service in 1972.

What is the name of the small island shown to the west of Cameroon on the Numista coin and banknote maps?

When did a post office (day/month/year) get established in the exclave belonging to Ajman where an international airport has been under development since 2008 and as of 2021 construction may have been cancelled?

First correct response by or before noon eastern US time, July 17, 2021, will win. If there is no correct response, the first response will win. Responses in English, please. My decision as to winner will be final.

Good luck to all who choose to participate.

Will
Unfortunately I can only answer the first question.

That island is called Bioko Island and it's part of Equatorial Guinea.

About the second question, I found out the name of the city but not the date you're looking for.
First question: São Tomé and Príncipe
Second question: 29 November 1963
Keep the responses coming. We do not have a winner yet.

allexis is the winner. Congratulations!

I'll send a PM requesting the address where the stamps should be sent. It seems we have forum members who really know how to research topics.

Giveaways will continue and I look forward to having continued and greater participation.
