Hello! I wonder if it might be possible to add a new country?

It would be the Bani Khalid Emirate. The emirate's territory was in what is now Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, but as its capital was in Hofuf / Al-Hasa I guess it would sit under Saudi Arabia, like Hejaz does. There's a good map here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Banu_Khalid.png

The currency would be 'Bani Khalid Dinar (1669-1796)'.

Many thanks for your consideration!

Mike

Hi! Can you link entries we have for this issuer please?

Thank you!

No problem.  It seems the Bani Khalid only minted larins. The rare silver version is on Numista, but erroneously listed under the Saffarids: N#55815 The much more common billon and copper version, also called a tawilah, is not listed on here as far as I can see, but I have an entry drafted ready to go if the Bani Khalid Emirate gets approval. These coins are often listed under the Ottomans in auctions, but the region was no longer under Ottoman authority when they were minted, with the Bani Khalid producing them in what is probably the sole mint at Hofuf / Al-Hasa.

Thanks!

Would you have any links, doc, reference to share?
