Look at this beauty I just found in my local post while sending an swap.

It is quite big and the only example they had in the office!

It looks more like a map of southern France,Andorra,Spain,Portugal,Gibraltar and Morocco than a stamp.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
Indeed! But have a look down right 😉

I know but most probably no one would use it and maybe this would be bought by stamp collectors.

I am mighty impressed - hope you got it for keeps.

I am too.
The stamp is only one eighth of the sheet.

While adding it to my wishlist on Colnect, I saw that this stamp was released last month (https://colnect.com/en/stamps/stamp/1085196-First_Postal_Map_of_Spain_300th_Anniversary-Spain), so you saw a new addition to their available stamps.

Here we got a similar stamp a while ago but not with this huge sheet to stamp proportion (https://colnect.com/en/stamps/stamp/852404-Renato_Russo_1960-1996_Brazilian_Musician_and_Poet-Music-Brazil).
And this spanish stamp sheet is so large that it is sold folded, never seen that.
oddly concerning the Spanish postal mail, this map of 1721 is written in French :8D

The French language had supplanted Latin at that time as a diplomatic and business language.
It remains the working language in many international bodies.

And Felipe V was born in France and was part of the House of Bourbon :°
Anyway ... I do like this stamp :8D
