I'm currently downsizing my collection, focusing on quality - so, here's a eclectic mix of coins I'd like to be rid of.
If this little lot takes your fancy, offer below (with pictures) a single coin you would give in return - the nicest, by my judgement, will win the exchange!
No "reserve" whatsoever, winner will be declared in 14 days, so let's see what you've got!
(boring stuff: I will of course send first, being a new member, so please have good swap ratings. I'm in the UK, and will factor in shipping costs, so European entrants have an advantage)
This is a cool game that sounds fun to play, but you just joined yesterday with 0 ratings and you are asking for the nicest coin we would offer. Sounds like a scam

Hard to find a single coin facing a such interesting lot :
Isaac Earlysman Sparrow, Nova Scotia, different chinese emperors, etc ...
May be this one, but you know post delivery fees and customs ... a fortune !
I prefer to keep the girl, heu, no, sorry, the coin.
So my sole coin that is well below the price of this lot is this very well known large silver coin of the 60's that any french is still keeping under his pillow to remember the good old days of the thirty glorious years after the war when everything was so easy with the young girls in bloom who were less difficult to access than nowadays.
And besides it's my birthday coin ...
Of course the delivery costs are completely my responsibility and I am even ready to quadruple them to enjoy such a beautiful bargain.

Interesting, yes, but sadly I'd be lucky to have a dealer pay more than £2 for the lot... philistines.
Better they go straight to a good home, with a fun game besides.
Entering the competition is confusing. Definition most beautiful and the desire to transform the collection with a focus on,, quality,,. There is a definition without rules. And you are certainly not interested in ordinary modern and large productions of ridiculous polished nonsense.
Diogenés Laertios-defined first Eclecticism- so coins are so common and multifaceted , they do not suit you.
From that I conclude the only thing -and that is why you want uniqueness, peculiarity , and in the spirit of the traditions of one's own national pride.
That's why I chose a delicacy -That's why I chose a delicacy -you will not find a comparison ( Uniqueness and national pride) -especially the story of employee wage benefits.

Are the stated weight & dimensions accurate? They would suggest the coin is about 5 times as dense as copper, see https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1287.html for comparison.
Nonetheless, very tempting offer, thank you!
Hello
And a good observation from weight ( metal is iron)
Yes it is so the weight is without a dot 5.2 g (5.19..g), dimension fits.
But it only has something in common with Great Britain , only a little and partly only according to the registration of the company ( Sir. George W. Griffiha ) -company owner ,, Britania gewerkschaft,, I don't think he's ever seen the island I don't think he's ever seen the island.
It was not made in this area and was also intended for another place in Central Europe.
You will not find a comparison nor is the price incalculable.
Ivan
I’m also from London area, so if we can find a way to meet, I can offer you a big medallion/token, as per pictures below. It weights 200+ grams, and it would cost way too much to send by post. And unfortunately, I was never able to find good info about this medallion/token, as per link below: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic98513.html

True being a Gen Z person plus living with Baby boomer parents they always mention that almost everything was better in the 60s to early 90s.
Also I like the design of the 1/2 France to the 5 franc coin I think it is so underrated.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
Thank you to everyone who entered - there have been some wonderful coins, tokens and medals and honestly I've been spoiled for choice.
However, I'm not really a collector of tokens (or discuses, lorenzi!), so whilst I was tempted by mimael's rare mining token, the "quality" I was looking for turns out just to be "big ol' lump of silver", and all the better if it's one of the all-time classic designs.
Therefore the winner is Frenchlover, for his great 5 franc piece! And, thanks to his commentary, I know my swaps will be going to a good home.
I would never dare to call a coin collector an idiot, but I am mainly interested in the historical, even geopolitical, aspect of a coin. When I am asked how much worths one of my coins, I am often without an answer

Ok. I suppose a better term would be us the less knowledgeable
