I have a swap offer outside Numista. I want to be able to track the changes in my swap list on Numista.
The easiest way for me to do it is to create a swap with myself and track it using a functional of the swap page.
Is it possible to implement such feature?

I don't know if its any help but for swaps outside Numista and even purchases off of eBay and similar websites I use a designated notebook where I write down the information for what I'm getting and from who and then have a little timeline next to that info where I track the progress. I know its a lot easier to do it all through one source but I have a feeling that this function if implemented could lead to people loading their profiles with false feedback. Another option is that if they did allow this to be implemented that it would only be visible to the user and not count towards peoples ongoing swaps or any feedback being posted to the account for others to see. If that was the case I would fully support that since it would make life easier to track everything on here rather than having a separate notebook where I have to list all that information.
Also I know a lot of people down vote things just because they wouldn't use said function and I hope that the community would instead look at it building the site even if it is just for others and if they have concerns with a suggestion add feedback on what could be improved rather than just shooting it down right off the bat
Yes, it shall be definetly visible only for the user and it shall be no influence on tha amount of swaps on the way, rating and something like this. I beleive it shall be no confirmation button there.
What I propose is to implement an easy way to make a selection from my own coins and an instrument for working with them.
I can use notebook or excel and remove the coins manually one by one using search functionality, but it requires some time and efforts, therefore I never do it:)

Hello,
I don't plan to implement such feature. Here are some possible workarounds:
Add a comment to your coins which are swapped outside of Numista
Make a fake swap with the user "demo" with password "demo"
Create a second account and create a swap between the 2 accounts.
For the second and third options, make sure you don't rate the swap. And for the third option, make sure that your second account is clearly identified as such and don't use it for other purposes to avoid confusions.

Thanks, the option 3 works (I thought it is prohibited to have a second account:))
Also great to know about an option 2.
Bram, thanks to you too
