I want to please my wife, please buy my coins. :D

G'day fellow collectors!
I have a huge, lovely, coin collection in my home. Unfortunately my wife thinks it's her home too, and she's not as keen as I am. Se love my banknote collection though, but my coins she calls "metal garbage" and apparently 7,000 coins are too mych for her. So now my entire swap list is for sale.

Some coins have a fixed price, some coins have not. The total price can always be discussed, so don't worry too much about it. I can also accept your local currency and payment, or partial payment, to make it more like a swap. Please note that only banknotes will be accepted (I mean, thepoint to get rid of coins, not get more. LOL!) If possible, please use UNC banknotes. Don't worry, it's okay to just buy 1 or 2 coins, it's also okay to buy 100 or 500 coins.

Also, don't feel too sad for me. I love my wife, and she loves and respects me. Our jargon can seem rough and heartless to some, but we know where we stand with each other. And don't get me wrong here, I want to downsize my colelction too. I'm just not as eager as she is.

Pictures will be provided if asked, but I cannot put pictures of all 2,130 coins here.

But we complain when she buys jewellery because she has expensive taste.

The only jewellery from my mums collection that I like is a set of uncirculated Italian lire coins she got them custom made shortly after those were withdrawn. The ear rings are 20 lira coins the necklace 200 lira coin and the bracelet 500 lira coins.

My wife too is always complaining about the space my collection takes up.What is worrying, that she intends to sell them when I’m gone 😢

​Probably my wife will do the same, but then that's normal, since she doesn't care about them at all. My coins (42.000) and my doubles take a heck of a lot of room. >120 binders, 15 boxes with 1000 doubles in each plus supplies.

I can't complain... My wife likes and supports the hobby. She sits down with me and our globe each time I get a package from one of you in the mail, and we look up the countries of each coin in it (I know them by heart and she's getting there as well).
When we go to the coin store she's the one picking the most beautiful (and expensive) coins.
And I make sure the coins stay in my home office and don't spread all through the house. She wouldn't like that.

​It’s good that I got into this hobby and others before having a girlfriend/wife (which I don’t have) If I ever get one I would have to let them know about my hobbies (Numismatics,Aviation,Music formats, Car magazines,Technology and cars)

Keep the coins, get rid of the wife. Besides, they always want you to get rid of your stuff so they have more room to store their shoes.

​My wife says that I will have to sell off my collection when I retire. She loves my banknote collection, though, and a few of my coins – the historic and ancient ones, but most of it she calls "scrap".

​Sorry to judge but 42,000 coins excluding doubles. If all of your coins weight 1 gram (which it won’t be) then the whole collection weights 42 kg! (420 kg for 10 grams excluding weight of binders , boxes and doubles) that’s probably the weight of a small hatchback parked in your room or half a Peugeot 108 in your house.

Today, please be careful with criticism of women and girls - today is a glorious night(Saint Walpurgis Night ,Sankt Walpurgisnacht, Saint Walburga's Eve)
girlfriends and friends , there is always a disagreement here when someone enters a political issue, religion creates an explosive. We cannot agree on the rating of one coin. But the wife will write- and we all think immediately that it is written about our own ,sweethearts we have at home , so I think they are the same all over the world. What, or I'm wrong.
So be careful not to criticize today!
